exacerbate

- exacerbate vs exaggerate
Exaggerate means to generally enlarge beyond the bounds of truth. Exacerbate means to increase the severity, bitterness, or violence of, as in a disease. Exacerbate can also mean: to embitter the feelings of a person.

AugmentとIncreaseの違い

While both augment and increase share the concept in their definitions of "adding something", augment implies an action that effects a change in quality in the target object, while increase effects a change in quantity.

augmentは質の向上で、increaseは量の増加
